DUTY OF CANDOUR

DUTY OF CANDOUR

At Just Dreaming Aesthetics, we are legally and ethically committed to openness, transparency, and honesty in every aspect of patient care. Our Duty of Candour procedure reflects this commitment. It outlines our responsibility to inform and support you in the rare event of an unintended or unexpected incident during your care that could potentially cause harm.

Our staff and directors are required to communicate with patients or their families if an incident leads to harm. We’ll ensure you receive an honest, thorough explanation and a sincere apology. We’ll also actively involve you in reviewing the incident so we can learn and improve our standards of care.

Just Dreaming Aesthetics is fundamentally rooted in trust, accountability, and continuous improvement, always aiming to provide the highest standards of safety and care. Each year, we’ll report any incidents to our governing body, Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS).
